Celebrating Foster Parents
Our agency’s Intensive Foster Care Program recently hosted their annual Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon at Cyprian Keyes Golf Course in Boylston. The IFC team presented Beatrice Noncent with the Foster Parent of the Year award, and honored retiring longtime foster parent Eileen Cofske for the many years of thoughtful and compassionate care she provided to foster children in Worcester County.
Y.O.U., Inc.’s Intensive Foster Care program matches youth with foster parents who are specifically trained to deal with the specialized needs of children who have experienced trauma. Our services include individual and family therapy, support groups for both children and caregivers, and frequent educational and recreational activities throughout the year.
