FAMILY STABILIZATION SERVICES (FSS)

FSS, a program of Y.O.U., Inc. provides home-based treatment to families in crisis for a time of 1 month to a year. Focusing on the strengths of the families, the program provides intensive family intervention which is designated to prevent out-of-home placement for children and strengthen family relationships. Additionally, clients can access an on-call clinician 24 hours-a-day through Y.O.U., Inc.’s crisis line. Staff consist of the Director: Lorraine Helfand-Garcia, LICSW; Assistant Director: Debbie Gardner, LCSW; five full-time Family Support Workers; and one to two Graduate Interns.

FSS has five separate contracts, each of which draw from differing funding sources, focus on varying treatment issues and extend over a specific period of time.
