Y.O.U., Inc.’s Outpatient behavioral health services are centered around our three Family Centers, located in Worcester, Southbridge, and Gardner MA. Each Family Center is a fully licensed mental health clinic, whose clinical staff includes licensed psychologists, clinical nurse specialists, licensed independent social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and other Masters level clinicians.
The Family Center clinicians are experienced in treating children and families facing a wide range of issues such as family conflict and violence, to substance abuse, trauma histories, bereavement and loss, HIV and AIDS issues, bullying and sexual identity issues, and eating disorders. Each Family Center offers comfortable and welcoming private offices for individual therapy, as well as family and group therapy rooms.
Included on the staff of the Family Centers is a Prevention Specialist, whose role includes helping families to successfully navigate the behavioral health system, and help to connect clients to additional services and supports in the community. The Prevention Specialists offer free educational workshops, and facilitate support groups where parents struggling with a variety of issues and concerns can meet to share ideas, and gain strength from common experiences. Each Family Center also includes a Resource Center, where parents can access a comprehensive library of print and multi-media materials that can assist them in finding additional resources such as affordable summer programs and activities for their children, support and advocacy groups in the community, emergency housing and food assistance services, child care referrals, and much more.
Clients of the Family Centers can be males and females of all ages.
