OxfordProgram Snapshot

The George Bernardin Oxford House is a 14-bed residential program for adolescent boys who require long-term care in order to stabilize inappropriate behaviors including running away, substance abuse, sexual offending, anger management, and poor social skills. The program provides a safe and structured environment in which a flexible treatment model – emphasizing family and community participation – is offered.

The Oxford House has the unique ability to provide varying levels of supervision, depending on the client’s needs. Activities such as daily house meetings and weekly group therapy cover topics ranging from character development and peer pressure, to creative expression and team-building. Upon discharge from the Oxford House, a range of services are put in place which follow the youth through his transition back to his home and school community – allowing boys to achieve permanency goals and solidify their family relationships.

The Oxford House Residence

The George Bernardin Oxford House program is housed in a newly-renovated yet historic Colonial home in Oxford MA. The spacious residence offers clean and comfortable bedrooms and living spaces, a full kitchen and dining area, and a large yard for outdoor recreation.
