Dynamy Internship Year

Program Snapshot

Dynamy Internship Year is an innovative personalized gap year program for young adults who want a semester or full academic year of internship and experiential learning opportunities before moving on, or returning to, higher education. All students participate in hands-on workshops, adventure challenges, apartment living and mentoring, and additional support services are available for students who learn differently.

Based firmly in an experiential education approach since 1969, the Internship Year includes full-time internships chosen from over 200 placement options based on a student’s interests. Students live in a supervised apartment setting adjacent to the program’s facilities and advising offices. As part of their weekly schedules, students attend interactive workshops, participate in college and career counseling, and manage their apartment responsibilities. Each student works individually with an advisor, who assists them in building on their own strengths, values, critical thinking skills and leadership abilities necessary for a success in life and in higher education.
