Seven Hills Foundation

Seven Hills Foundation & Affiliates has been providing a myriad of unique home-based services to families and children in central and southeastern MA for decades. These services are tailored to each family’s needs, increasing, or reducing the intensity of treatment as needed. Our home-based programs are rooted in a strength-based, family-focused, consumer-centered, systemic approach to service delivery.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) brings structure and coordination to the delivery of behavioral health services to children across the state. The CBHI mission ensures that children with MassHealth who have significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs and their families get the services they need for success in home, school, community, and throughout life.

Population Served

Funded through private insurance or MassHealth, our Home-Based services are offered to:

  • Youth ages 3-19 with private insurance and up to age 21 with MassHeath and their families
  • Youth struggling with mental health issues that significantly impact their functioning in at least one life domain
  • Youth are at risk for hospitalization, or who have recently been hospitalized for mental health concerns

Overview of Services

Our services are offered in a client’s home or natural environment and include the family system as an integral part of treatment. The home-based service philosophy is built on a strengths-based, family-focused system of care. These supportive teams work with families to navigate the complex systems and services and empower families to develop the skills and strategies to make sustainable change.

The program offers intensive short term and long term services that assist multi-stressed families and adult consumers to expand their support network, strengthen their coping strategies, increase their capacity for self-efficacy and help manage crises. The program has the capability and expertise to handle referrals dealing with trauma-related symptoms/crises, domestic violence, substance abuse, severe mental illness, developmental & learning disabilities, and parent-child conflicts.
