Description

Cottage Hill Academy is a staff secure level, long-term behavioral residential school. It is licensed with a 32-bed capacity and provides special education on grounds, clinical integrated milieu treatment and family services. Cottage Hill Academy offers intensive treatment in an environment that can provide safety and behavioral containment when necessary.

Population

The population served requires residential, behaviorally structured level of care, and have a history of previous placements. Clients may present the following characteristics: oppositional behavior, running away, affective disorders, truancy, eating disorders, physical and/or sexual abuse, family conflict, substance abuse, poor impulse control and limited coping skills.
