Description

The Worcester Juvenile Fire Prevention Program provides assessment and education for the treatment of juvenile fire setters and ensures that every child who exhibits inappropriate fire behavior in the community receives consistent, prompt and effective intervention.

Population

Any child or youth from the ages of 7-17 involved in fire play behaviors such as curiosity, attempted fires, match play, lighter play, and arson. The program is free for any children or youth who reside in the City of Worcester, MA. There is a charge of $100 dollars for children and youth that live outside the city limits. A sliding scale is available.
