A myriad of educational and clinical services are provided
at the McGrath campus. All academic
courses are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
Academic course offerings are
supplemented by a vocational program including culinary arts,
computer instruction, and visual/graphic arts. Classrooms
feature a low staff to student ratio with class curriculum
individualized to the
students learning style as is outlined in his/her Individualized
Educational Plan (IEP).
Master level clinicians provide
clinical services with an emphasis on psycho-educational group
work. Additionally, all students participate in weekly individual
and group counseling. Family counseling is scheduled as needed.
Individualized clinical treatment plans are developed
for each student.
Additional services provided at McGrath include Occupational
Therapy, MCAS preparation,
adventure-based learning, educational, and functional-behavioral
assessments.
