EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND TRAINING SERVICES

YOU, Inc. offers a range of services designed to support learning, personal growth, independence, and successful employment. Educational and employment services include: State-approved Chapter 766 day and residential schools for adolescent students with behavioral and emotional problems; GED-preparation, job placement, and career development for out-of-school youth and for adults; and summer employment and youth development programs.

CHAPTER 766 SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS:
YOU, Inc.'s special education programs offer small classes in a structured and supportive environment, with individualized instruction according to each student's need.

The Kathleen Burns Preparatory School: A middle school program for students ages 10-12, and a high school program for students ages 13-18. Both programs include a clinical component to support student adjustment and success.
The Mary Elizabeth McGrath Educational Center: A high school program for students ages 13-18. The McGrath Center includes a vocational education component to supplement student's academic education.
Cottage Hill Academy: A residential program for girls ages 12-20. The program offers both clinical and vocational services in addition to an academic education.

WORCESTER EMPLOYMENT RESOURCE CENTER
YOU, Inc. offers program to support the education, successful employment, and independence of youth and adults. Programs include:

Worcester Education for Employment: A GED preparation and career development program for out-of-school youth in the City of Worcester.
Uxbridge School-to-Work: A GED preparation and career development program for out-of-school youth in the Blackstone Valley area.
Uxbridge Adult Basic Education: A secondary education and GED preparation evening program for adults in the Blackstone Valley area. This program also offers career development services to all participants.
Steps to Independent Living and Employment Success: A program of services designed to support participants' transition from welfare to successful employment.
Summer Youth Employment and Training Program: Supported summer employment programs for youth: one in Worcester primarily serving youth with emotional and behavioral problems; and the other serving out-of-school youth in the Blackstone Valley area.
